What is Appraisal?

Appraisal is defined as a process to propose economic value of real property based on professional knowledge and experience. Such valuation must be of objective analysis on the economic situation. Definition of appraisal is stipulated in §2 of Price Announcement of Real Estate and Appraisal Act (hereafter, the ‘’Real Estate Announcement Act). “Appraisal is an act of valuating and converting the economic value of real property into a monetary value.”
